Grow old along with me! The best is yet to be, The last of life, for which the first was made: Our times are in His hand Who saith "A whole I planned, Youth shows but half; trust God: see all, nor be afraid!" - From "Rabbi Ben Ezra" by Robert Browning

Signs of Spring

Camelia bushes ready to bloom again

It's been a really strange winter! Temperatures have been mostly warm, 60s and 70s warm! A few short cold spells, but nothing that required the necessity to bundle up. And now it's February, and Spring is right around the corner!

Here in NE Georgia, we often have a late winter/early spring storm that brings ice or snow. I don't think that will happen this year, but you never know!

Forsythia bushes blooming in earnest now.

Right now, the signs of spring are everywhere around the farm. The landscape is still pretty bleak, with naked trees and huge areas of brown grass, but the inevitable press of Springtime is showing through the bleakness, sticking out her colorful head and gently proclaiming, "Here I am!" to anyone who will notice.
Budding bushes, yellow daffodils, tiny unknown flowers, and widening patches of bright green grass are chasing the wintertime away!
